Communication is essential to good design. Each client you encounter has a message to convey. Understanding your client's need is the key. The more you know, the better the product. Knowledge is king.
Know your product
Understanding how your design will be utilized, often on many platforms, is most useful prior to the design itself. I have extensive experience working in screen print and embroidery. I also have worked with large format printers and plotters, as well as heat pressing, laminating and different substrate installations.
Keep learning
I have had the privilege of working for many talented people over the course of my career. I learned a lot from others and I have always worked on my own to try something new. My successes will always outnumber my failures. That is my philosophy in life and my art.
